Can I make a Melly & me pattern and sell the finished item?
Yes, we are more than happy for people to make items from our patterns and then sell these as long as; the items are handmade on a small hobby scale, and any advertising, listings or labels acknowledge it is made using a Melly & me pattern.
Can I order your patterns wholesale for my store?
Yes, we wholesale our patterns to shops all over the globe. This is done via our wholesale distributor, Creative Abundance. Please CLICK HERE to visit their website where you can apply to create a wholesale account. If you are in the USA, you can also find a selection of my patterns available through Checker Distributors.
Why does the cost of my order change at checkout?
If you are visiting from outside of Australia, my website may detect this and show you the equivalent pattern prices in your countries' currency. This is the estimated price to you based on the current conversion from Australian dollars. When you reach checkout the amount being charged will show in Australian Dollars (which may appear higher). Rest assured that when you complete your transaction it will debit from your card/account in your currency at the amount originally shown (give or take a few cents, based on the conversion at the time of checkout).
What is the difference between a printed and download pattern?
Printed patterns are exactly that; a printed and packaged pattern with instruction booklet, full sized templates and a cover. This pattern will be posted to you so shipping charges will apply. A download pattern is the same pattern in a PDF format that you can download immediately and print yourself at home. This may involve taping together pages to create your complete templates.
How and when can my download be accessed?
Upon checkout you will be taken to a page with a download link. If you miss this, do not worry, as the download link will also be emailed to you within minutes. If you cannot find the email, please check your junk/spam folder. Downloads are available for 30 days from the purchase date, so please try to save the files within that time. If you have lost your files, or forgotten to download them within 30 days, please contact us and we will re-send a new link to you asap.
I am having trouble downloading and opening my pattern download, can you help?
Most of our patterns come as a .zip file and need to be un-zipped/extracted. While most computers extract these automatically when you double click the file (or by right clicking and tapping Extract/Unzip), some other devices such as tablets, phones etc may appear unable to open the file. For most devices these can be opened with another method as per the following list.
Apple IPad/IPhone: Download the file to save. Open the 'Files' app. In the files app find the downloaded zip file. Tap on the file and it will start to extract into a new folder. If this does not happen on tapping, tap and hold and then select 'Uncompress'.
Android tablets/Phones: Download the file to save. Open the 'Files by Google' app. In the app find the downloaded zip file. Tap on the file and select 'Extract' and then 'Done'. The file will be saved to a new folder.

How long will my printed patterns take to arrive via post?
We will ensure we post any orders within 3 business days. From there the postage time can differ from location to location. Australia: post take approximately 2-6 business days or 1-3 business days for express.
Overseas post takes approximately 5-10 business days or 3-6 business days for express.
All orders will come with tracking.
